PURPOSE:
To do the Lord's work and to help fund any growth within our church
through bake sales, fall festivals, barbecue dinner sales, garage
sales, etc.
MEETINGS:
On the last Tuesday night of each month at 5:00 p.m. we meet
in the Family Life Center. Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m. and
is followed by prayer request, a devotional and discussions on
upcoming events.
DINNER:
Dinner is prepared and served by four different ladies each month.
It usually works out that each one of us cooks only twice a year.
For the other 10 months, it's so nice to come and enjoy a wonderful
meal that you don't have to bring or do
anything plus no washing dishes.
DEVOTIONAL:
Our devotionals are given by people who have a particular
blessing they want to share, or subject that touched their heart, or
a favorite scripture. It's usually around 15 to 20 minutes and
we would welcome anyone that has something they would like to share
to contact Judy Springer.
CONTRIBUTIONS:
With the support of the entire church, in the past 5 years we
have been able to help fun the following: Family Life Center,
New Sunday School Wing, Striping Parking Area, Russian Missionaries,
Mexico Mission Trip, Love Offerings, Christmas Gifts for Children,
Kitchen Supplies for Family Life Center, Chairs for Family Life
Center, Ten Quilts for the Mexico Mission Trip. |
